David joined Travillian in 1999 and is the Founder and Head of Investment Banking. David was the driving force behind establishing the firm as a premier provider of executive recruiting services to the financial services industry while it was an affiliate of SNL Financial (now S&P). As an independent entity, he continues to grow the firm’s presence within the space. Located in the firm’s Philadelphia area headquarters, David has a long track record working with investment bankers, corporate development executives, researchers & PM’s, commercial bankers, private equity professionals, and various other industry members.
David’s experience spans senior and mid-level appointments in super-regional companies to start-ups. His direct approach and entrepreneurial flair, combined with in-depth market knowledge, has led to strong client relationships and a growing base of business within the financial services industry.David prides himself on playing a key role in all phases of the recruiting process which allows him to keep his hands on the pulse of the marketplace.
In the community, David is a Board Member of Kase’s Corner, a charity dedicated to fighting juvenile diabetes and other diseases by encouraging exercise and physical fitness. He is also an active participant in the youth sports coaching circuit for his three boys.
David holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
Patrick Cooney

Patrick joined Travillian in 2022 as a Senior Recruiter, supporting the Banking and Fintech practice. His responsibilities include talent advisory, sourcing and screening talent, and developing strong partnerships with clients and candidates.
Patrick has worked in talent acquisition for 15 years with his primary focus in the healthcare and accounting/finance sectors. Prior to Travillian, he was the Director at Bayada Home Healthcare where he focused on leading and growing the adult care practice. He has extensive experience in business development, fostering long term relationships with clients and candidates, talent placement and advisory and developing high performing teams. Patrick has spent the majority of his career in the NYC market before relocating to the Greater Philadelphia area in 2018.
Patrick graduated from Pace University in 2007 with a BBA in Marketing.
Keith Daly

Keith joined Travillian as a Senior Recruiter in 2019 to assist in the growth and expansion of the Banking and Fintech division. His responsibilities include developing long-term partnerships with mid and senior-level executives, locating and screening top talent for clients, and generating new business for the firm.
Prior to Travillian, Keith was a Client Service Director for Robert Half Management Resources. His focus was on fostering relationships with finance & accounting executives for strategic projects and interim senior level resource needs. Previously, Keith worked in the New York City region in various managerial capacities including FP&A and Strategic Pricing for such companies as Wolters Kluwer, Hertz Global Holdings, and Kantar Media. In these positions, he regularly interfaced with executives regarding overall financial strategy and execution of the company’s goals.
Keith is active in the local Philadelphia community, with a dedication to helping support the cause of curing cancer, specifically Melanoma. He is also involved with charities at his church to help families in need.
Keith graduated from the University of Scranton with a Finance Degree and also attained his MBA from Fordham University.
Katie Durso

Katie joined Travillian with an extensive background in financial services administration, as well as experience in the banking and insurance industries. Over the past 12 years, Katie has provided daily support of two successful planning practices, ranging from long-term projects to client service, and everything in between. Prior to her role in the financial services industry, Katie also worked for M&T Bank, Sovereign Bank and State Farm. She brings a wealth of experience and insight across the broad spectrum of the financial industry to her role at Travillian.
In her personal life Katie is passionate about giving back. She believes in raising awareness and lending a helping hand to those in need. Katie co-founded and serves on the board of Homers For Hope, a 501(c)3 non-profit charity that raises funds to help local families in need. She also volunteers her time to advocate and fundraise for animal welfare and rescue, and other national charities such as Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
Katie currently lives in Delaware County, PA with her husband John.
Joe Fantacone

Joe joined Travillian’s Investment Banking Practice in December of 2023 as an Associate Search Consultant. In September of 2024, Joe began building out Travillian’s Private Wealth Management search practice, partnering with Private RIAs nationwide, providing highly qualified candidates and market intelligence. Before joining Travillian, he started his career in the financial services industry as an Executive Recruiter with a highly recognized boutique search firm. Joe’s primary focus was on mid-level to C-Suite Executive searches for Private RIA and Accounting Advisory firms nationwide. There, Joe found his passion for directly impacting his client’s business by introducing highly qualified talent and positively impacting revenue and work culture.
Joe is a dedicated fundraiser for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Joe was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 8.
He has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Kutztown University, graduating in December, 2021.
Candice Gallagher

Candice joined Travillian as a Recruiter in 2024 within the Banking & Fintech and Private Wealth Management division. Her focus will include new business generation for the firm by engaging and building long-term relationships with mid- and senior-level executives nationwide.
Before joining Travillian, Candice spent over 13 years in the banking industry, advancing from a Branch Colleague to a Regional Manager at Citizens Bank, where she focused on building relationships and developing talent in the Greater Philadelphia Market. She then moved to Univest Financial to support the creation and growth of their Private Banking Division, delivering tailored, holistic advice and customized roadmaps for clients. Candice has collaborated with executive leadership throughout her career to drive financial growth, enhance colleague engagement and retention, and manage digital transformation and change.
Candice is a native of Berks County, and active in the local community, with a dedication to the Berks County Autism Society in an attempt to spread understanding, awareness, and acceptance for those impacted by autism spectrum disorder.
Candice graduated from Albright College with a degree in Economics, Accounting, and Finance.

Autumn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus in Visual Arts from Ramapo College and her Master of Arts in Public Administration from Widener University.
Autumn focuses on all brand initiatives for Travillian and Travillian Next including but not limited to graphic design, e-mail marketing, web design, social media strategy, video production, and video editing.
Brian Love

Brian Love is Head of the Banking & Fintech practice at Travillian, a nationally focused, boutique executive recruiting firm dedicated to serving Financial Institutions. Based in our King of Prussia, PA headquarters, Brian brings nearly a decade of experience in executive search, following his education in Communications and upbringing within community banking.
Brian focuses on C-Suite Executive searches and the multidisciplinary senior-level positions that surround them. His clients consist of publicly traded and privately held companies, ranging from $30 billion in assets to more entrepreneurial organizations like fintechs, startups, denovos, and recapitalized entities. Michael Perito joined Travillian in July 2024 to serve as Head of Bank Strategy, leading the firm’s consulting and advisory services for Banks and Financial Technology companies. Michael brings 13-plus years of industry expertise to Travillian including corporate communications, financial analysis, strategic planning, and digital initiatives.
Before joining Travillian, Michael worked as a senior equity research analyst at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., covering publicly traded financial companies in industries ranging from banking, banking-as-a-service, neobanks, B2B payments, digital lenders, wealthtech and institutional cryptocurrency. Michael also led KBW’s digital banking research efforts in the U.S., with his research widely viewed by industry participants and regularly quoted by Bloomberg, S&P Global Market Intelligence, Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Philadelphia Business Journal and American Banker. In 2017, Michael was selected as a “Rising-Star” by Institutional Investor for his work covering the mid-cap bank space.
Michael graduated from Villanova University with a BS degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and a minor in real estate. Michael is also an active member of his local communities, most notably dedicated to helping raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Cardic Care and Research platform with his wife, Dana.
Adam Yancoskie

An Executive Recruiter based in the Philadelphia area office, Adam specializes in executing client searches focused across the financial services industry. His responsibilities include developing relationships with mid and senior level industry executives, interviewing and recruiting candidates for the client company, and negotiating employment agreements.
Prior to joining Travillian, Adam was employed by Hirtle Callaghan & Co., a financial advisor focused on providing investment solutions for family groups and institutions through North America and around the world. He was an analyst in the Private Equity group, involved in all facets of the investment process; including the initial screening of investment opportunities, due diligence, and monitoring of portfolio companies. Adam also worked at SEI Investments as an Asset Movement Analyst, responsible for transitioning new clients into the company.
Adam earned a B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh.
Laura Yancoskie

Laura joined Travillian in 2005 and is currently the Human Resources Manager at the firm. Her background ranges from marketing to human resources. She started her career in the Washington DC Metro area after graduating from the University of Maryland, working in many different marketing and advertising roles. After moving to the Philadelphia area, she continued to work in the field of marketing. When first joining Travillian, she handled all marketing efforts at the firm, including web development and direct marketing. She has since transitioned her responsibilities and currently handles all aspects of human resources for the firm, including payroll, benefits and onboarding.
In her personal life, Laura spends time volunteering and spending time with her husband and three boys in their home in Berwyn, PA.
Steven Zou

Steven joined Travillian’s Investment Banking Practice in December of 2023 as an Associate Search Consultant. Before joining Travillian, he started his career working in client relationship management roles for The Vanguard Group and Fidelity Investments, primarily focused on servicing high net worth accounts. Steven’s passion for the markets and helping individuals achieve their financials goals have made him ideally suited for Travillian’s relationship orientation and “lead with intellectual capital” mantra.
Steven watched Usian Bolt break the world record in 2008 at the Beijing Olympics and was a dedicated sprinter in high school competing in the 55m, 100m, and 200m sprints. Steven has lived in the outskirts of Houston, Washinton D.C and now calls Philadelphia home.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State University in May 2021. He hoped to be an investment banker out of school but found another way to contribute to the industry with Travillian.
Joe Fenech

Joe Fenech has worked in the bank sector for more than twenty years. He began his career in 1998 helping execute IPO’s for Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P., a leading firm serving the financial services sector. In 2000, he moved to equity research, covering large banks for Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Prudential Equity Group LLC, honing his skills under the sector’s most prominent analysts.
Fenech returned to Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. in 2004 as a lead analyst covering bank stocks nationwide, serving in that role until 2014. In 2014, he joined Hovde Group LLC, a top advisor to banks, to spearhead the buildout of the firm’s research unit. Under this leadership, the firm built an award-winning platform, initiating coverage of over one hundred bank stocks. In 2017, he was appointed to the firm’s Management Operating Committee, which was tasked with day-to-day management of the company.
Fenech is frequently interviewed by media outlets, including CNBC, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, American Banker, S&P Global Market Intelligence, and has been invited to share his sector insights with numerous Boards of Directors, and an industry conferences. Fenech graduated with a Bachelor degree in Finance from James Madison University, and holds the following FINRA licenses: 7, 24, 63, 86, and 87.
